Shan Mutton Roast Masala helps you recreate the authentic Mutton Roast at home. Mix for mutton roast with mild condiments.
COOKING RECIPE AS PER 50 GRAM
Mutton, leg 1 ½ kg, whole leg - Onions 2 small, peeled and uncut
Potatoes 4 - 6 small, peeled - Carrot 1 cut into 1" rounds
Garlic pod 1 whole, unpeeled - Ginger 3" pieces, thin slices - Oil ½ cup / 75 ml
SHAN MUTTON ROAST MASALA MIX 1 PACKET
STEPS OF COOKING
- Heat oil, add meat, onions, garlic, ginger, carrot and Shan Mutton Roast Masala Mix. Stir fry for 2 - 3 minutes
- Add 6 cups of water and bring to boil.
- Lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook undisturbed for 3 hours then turn the meat to the other side for 3 hours or until a thick gravy is formed.
- Remove and discard potatoes, carrot, ginger, garlic, onion and whole spices.
- Serve neat or with bread
